Windows Setup

  1. Before anything else, you should make sure you have the netCDF DLL. This should be in the win32 directory. You should put this DLL somewhere on your system path. That's SYSTEM PATH, not your MATLAB PATH. A decent system path candidate would be C:\path\to\matlab\bin\win32 You may need to restart your system at this point. This installation procedure used to be a lot more complicated until I learned about the rebooting business. Yeah, rebooting and windows, hand-in-hand for eternity.

  2. Make sure you add
    C:\path\to\where\you\unpacked\mexnc\in\the\first\place
to your matlab path, because you need the m-files that come along with the mex-file.
